The new Solomango blog retains the spirit that inspired the original website but now offers you even more.
Over the last seven years over 250 features ranging from cricket in Croatia to cockfighting in the Philippines have been uploaded to the Solomango website and licensed for publication by clients across the world. Where there is a celebration, there is joy. It is nowhere more evident than in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras ( French for Fat Tuesday) has become a time to celebrate grandly before lent begins on Ash Wednesday. Celebrations are concentrated for about two weeks before and through Fat Tuesday.
Standing tall and unassuming, is a spectacular vast land inhabited by pinnacles and rock formations of intense rugged orange and reds. If you suspend logic you can find yourself believing that some of the formations, known as hoodoos, are sculptures of humans or like the Paiute Indians believed “hoodoos are Ancient Legend People”
Every Culture has its richness: its song, its voice, its rituals, its pain, its prayer, its dance, its inherent history that cannot be separated no matter how far we travel from its place of origin. Latinos have come together in the Unites States and these great infusions of culture have richly integrated to create a richer and greater song.
We may forget sometimes how connected we are. How the world is ONE. How our differences are only a way to keep us apart.

The journey began as a “rite of passage” in our trekking life. We had no idea what we were in for, only the expectation of reaching our final goal – The Twin Horns that so elegantly crown Torres del Paine at 6300ft.

Located in northern Colombia, Cartagena is a Caribbean jewel. This colorful city, also known as Cartagena de Indias, is an important port, and a Paradise destination. It is one of the most beautiful and well preserved Old Towns in the Caribbean. Proud of their city, Cartagenians, are a happy and welcoming people; always eager to share their city.
